Both of these software is what’s used to program and configure flight controllers like the Naze32. OSD support took longer than expected and other life stuff got in the way. Cleanflight is an alternate configurator software/firmware to Baseflight (default firmware on Naze32).

I had to unload 1.14.0 and install 1.13.0 in order to talk to my Jumper 260 quad. I want 1.14.0 out the door quickly - Im looking for a much shorter release cycle for 1.14.0 and a tighter focus. Now I'm not sure of this but if your quad is running Cleanflight 1.13.0 and you have the Cleanflight Configurator 1.14.0 loaded it might cause a problem.

Or, maybe things are actually better now in 1.14.2. I'm new to all this, but it also sounds like CF 1.14.0 was released with little regard to whether angle mode worked, so maybe that trend did start as early as 1.12.

The mindset of " Why pushing and obligating people to install a Bios Update when it is not necessary" is why people are stupid enough to get hacked in the first place. Issue 2395 - new/changed PGs uninitialised on firmware upgrade. Well, overskyrc does state that the scisky was tested on v1.8 and 1.9, not newer versions. You need to think about whether you want to cherry pick them, or take them. Also see my comment at 2213 (comment) - there have been huge changes in this area in betaflight. Realistically I'm not going to be able to do any more before the next Cleanflight release. Unless you want unknown people installing modified BIOS updates I would update ASAP. As you can see, I did some work on that a while ago, which has been pulled in. The issue affects 129 Dell models of consumer and business laptops, desktops, and tablets, including devices protected by Secure Boot and Dell Secured-core PCs." "The chain of flaws that were discovered by the Eclypsium researchers comes with a CVSS base score of 8.3/10 and enables privileged remote attackers in order to impersonate and take control of the target device’s boot process to break OS-level security controls. The SupportAssist software is preinstalled on most Dell devices running Windows operating system, while BIOSConnect provides remote firmware update and OS recovery features. Something I found out that I feel like I should share m54b30 turboed, 1000cc injectors, RS4 maf, no ISA, No Disa, m50 manifold (m54 throttle body). The Dell SupportAssist vulnerabilities were allowing attackers to remotely execute code within the BIOS of impacted devices.
